First weekend on-site
Synchronicity. It’s massive right now.
Big thank you to everyone who stuck their head through the door on Friday. I took a trip down to the DIY man early morning and cracked on with the mist coat in the back room.
I had local tiling dude, Joe “tiger belly” drop by to look at screeding in the back. I’d bumped into him just the other day down a dark alley and he happened to be just passing that morning.
Then Dom dropped by with caffeine and inspo (the important stuff.) Just as Ian Tothill was passing, who also needed a word with Dom. Cue off-the-cuff artist brain dump.
Weirdest thing about this afternoon? A total stranger turning up and putting his face to the glass. Ian had emailed me literally 10pm the night before to tell me about this local street artist I might want to work with, @Onist
I’d messaged him that very morning, and the three of us had just been talking about it. And I’d be f*cked if it wasn’t the man himself.
So now here I am, covered in white emulsion, in a hive of creative exchange, chucking ideas around about the space and its potential with a team of absolute icons. Everyone on my level. Speaking the language.
Love doesn’t even come into it, mate. Transcendental sh*t, this.
Thank you for being here. More to come.
